I love this pen and all the supplies that come with it to get you going. I also really love the bag that it comes with.The battery pack came charged so I was able to test it out right away. It’s easy to figure out. Easy to use. Great for practicing.There’s a power cord if you have another power source or a pedal, which I do not. There’s a usb cord for the battery.Battery plugs right into the pen.Easy to change the voltage up and down. The motor feels strong. Pretty quiet, but gets louder the higher the voltage.The pen is easy to hold.The supplies are pretty good to get you going but you will definitely want to start shopping for more ink. You might also want to get some kind of wound care ointment or something like that.

This is a wonderful set for beginners. It has a ton of helpful accessories and supplies at a great price for anyone looking to get into the world of tattooing. Pretty much everything you need to get started is included hereThe pen is easy to hold and works well without too much vibration and noise. There is a battery pack included that has worked fine for me so far for wireless operation. There is also an AC cord if you want to use an external power source or pedal. The battery life is decent but it wouldn't be a bad idea to pick up a spare battery for longer sessions. The pen operates smoothly, but does get a little noisy and shaky at higher voltagesThis comes with a lot of supplies that will be helpful for practicing. There are fake skins that are ok, but I would recommend finding some better ones. This comes with a set of ink, and as others have noted, it is fine for practicing, but I would recommend getting some higher quality ink before working on real skin. There is also some transfer paper, black bandage tape, gloves, ink caps, and a few other odds and endsEverything is packaged together in a handy carrying case for a nice presentation. All of the supplies are decent quality, but none of it is top of the line, but that is to be expected at this price point. It does include more accessories than many similar beginner kits. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to experienced artists, but would highly recommend to beginners to get some good practice in before working on people

I can't believe what an incredible set this is, at this price. And to make it even more dramatic, Amazon is offering a substantial money saving coupon for this set, right there on the product page.This is a perfect set for a beginner, and while I will admit that it's not perfect, it's actually pretty great.Here's why:The pen included in the kit can run off the included battery pack (6.0v-11.0v working range), or swap it out for a battery of your own. If you have an AC setup you can run this off your AC power supply, foot switch and power cable (all not included in this kit), using the clip cord with the RCA jack (that IS included) with the kit. That's sweet!The pen runs really well, though it gets a bit noisy around 9.5volts. The level of vibration is pretty good throughout, and using my own battery I ran this from 3.0v all the way to 12.0v. It was really smooth, and certainly very workable in terms of vibration, even at 12.0v.The kid is impressive, as well, coming in with a really nice hard shell travel case, that features a zipper closure, and carry handle. There is a large mesh pocket inside.With this kit you get more gear than about 90% of the other competing kits on the market, at a much better price. You get:Tattoo pen clear covers (tinted blue), ten small bottles of practice inks, a larger bottle of black ink, a larger bottle of blue soap, a single pair of black latex exam gloves, a single roll of black grip tape (wide, nice!), twenty tattoo needle cartridges, a surgical marker, two sheets of decent (though not great) synthetic tattoo skin, a large set of tattoo stencils, and four dental bibs to cover your work surface. There's even a small instruction booklet.I'm very impressed with the design of the tattoo pen, and it runs nicely. The battery pack is okay, but doesn't have a super long run time (understandable).The readout on the battery pack is digital LED, and it's large and super easy to read. To it's credit the battery pack is super light, and has little effect (if any) on the balance of the pen.This is an absolutely fantastic kit, and it's really hard to believe it's selling at this price. I'm completely impressed with it. Super value.
