Purple Pulse Rotary Tattoo Machine Kit BT01 Good for Beginners

This is a super nice kit for beginners, and also an incredible value. In some ways it's far better than some kits that cost 2-3 times as much.The kit is built around the Poseidon tattoo pen, and this is a pretty nice one. It's well made, and has a purple & black finish. It's got an RCA jack on top, which is perfect since this does not come with a battery pack (though it can work off a battery). Instead, you're given a complete AC setup, which includes a foot switch, AC power supply and all the cables you need. I think it's a pretty good setup, and honestly, I'd prefer this over other inexpensive pens that have bad battery packs.The pen runs pretty smoothly for an inexpensive kit, and it does have significant noise as you get around 8.5v, and up. Not bad, however, and definitely something you can work with.I should note that the finish and machine work on the pen is very nice. Sort of looks like it's anodized.The power supply unit is one that I would describe as "meh". It does have a large LED digital display, which is excellent, but it's all plastic, very light, and will be moving all over when you're working.The kit also comes with forty tattoo cartridges (nice mix of liners and shaders), twenty small bottles of practice inks (the best selection I've seen in any kit in this price range), a bottle of blue soap, a single pair of black latex exam gloves, a single roll of wide black grip tape, two small bags of ink caps, four bibs to cover your work station, two smaller sheets of tattoo practice skin, two sheets of design transfer paper, and a small instruction manual.All of this fits into an excellent hard carry case, with zipper closure.This would be difficult to beat in this price range. It's an excellent value in my opinion, and you beginners won't soon outgrow it.
